Although from Chinese/Vietnamese origins, Mr. Thanh Hung Trinh is as Swiss as they come.
Born on December 4th 1977 in Hanoi, Thanh arrived in Montreux at the age of three, along with his brother and parents.
After completing regular school in Montreux, he decided to study fine arts in Sion, capital of the Valais canton. Right after that, he went on to complete his apprenticeship in Lausanne as Graphic Designer where he received in 1999 the price of the Jury as a recognition for his outstanding work throughout his four years of education.
Most of his professional experience as a Graphic Designer was carried out in the best ad agencies in Lausanne, but Thanh always had multiple and compatible interests such as photography, motion design, movie making and industrial design.
Self-taught in most of this side disciplines, Thanh’s multi talents is what also makes Crafted Goods strength and uniqueness, conducting the entire creative process behind the brand, from product design to visual and graphic content production.
Like Mr. Trinh would say:
“…there is not a thing such as beautiful or ugly, there is just right or wrong. Only right proportions matter”.
